Obituary of Paul McKenzie Gallagher

Paul McKenzie Gallagher born in Saint John, NB, June 14,1923 husband of the late Anne (Campbell) Gallagher and son of the late Charles and Genevieve (McKenzie) Gallagher passed away on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Rocmaura Nursing Home at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Hudon and brother, Alphonus Gallagher. Paul was a loving, caring and dedicated father and will be sadly missed by his devoted daughter, Cathy Farris (Murray Isfeld) and a friend of the family, Diane Haines, whom he loved as a daughter. Paul was employed at the Admiral Beatty Hotel where he retired as Assistant Controller. He was Choir Director at St. Ann’s Church for over 30 years and a member of the Knights of Columbus #6595 Saint John East. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday on October 11, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 12:05 pm. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to Romero House or to any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. .
