Obituary of Ronald Joseph Corvec

After a brief illness, the death of Ron Corvec, husband of Dorothy Corvec (Webb) occurred on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at his residence. Ron was born on February 22, 1947 in Saint John, NB. Ron worked for 37 years with Workers' Rehabilitation Centre (WRC) and also at Harbour Station for many years. Besides his wife Dorothy, Ron is survived by his daughters: Tara Girouard (John) and Jody Corvec; sons: Keith (Harry McGaghey) and Adam (Tara Smith); step-daughter, Jillian Chown; step-sons: Matthew (Ashley), Brandon and Cody Swan; grandchildren: Ryan, Kyle, Noah, Owen, Cameron, Shawn, Haley and Kerry; eight sisters; three brothers and several friends, nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. Ron was predeceased by his parents, two sisters and first wife, Marlene Corvec. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday from 7 -9 PM and Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 12 Noon. For those who wish, remembrances to Hospice of Greater Saint John would be appreciated by the family.
