Obituary of Lucy May Rushton

Lucy May Rushton, wife of Mayes C. Rushton of Saint John, NB, passed way on Friday, October 22, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Maine, she was a daughter of the late Jerome and Mary Perry. Lucy loved spending time with her family and friends, and driving around the city with her husband. She enjoyed playing bingo. Lucy was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her husband, Mayes C. Rushton, Lucy is survived by her son, Jack (Pam) Rushton, Saint John. Brother, Paul Perry, Saint John. She was predeceased by her sister, Violet and her brother, Clarence “Joe” Perry. There will be no visitation, by request. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 6:00 PM from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, 634-7424. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice
