Obituary of Constance L. Jeddry

The death of Constance “Connie” Dean Jeddry, formerly of Dove Street, occurred on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at the Loch Lomond Villa. She was born on July 28, 1926 at Saint John she was the daughter of late William and Clara (Stockley) Brennan. She worked for most of her life at Diana Restaurant. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed country music. Constance was a devoted wife and mother; she loved and was loved by all her children. Constance is survived by one daughter, Thelma Dean of PEI and her seven sons: Douglas Dean (Sharon) of St. Martins, Donald Dean (Helen) of Hampton, Thomas Dean (Pam) of Norton, Daniel Dean (Bessie), David Dean (Sue), Richard Dean (Joyce) and Stephen Dean (Rita) all of Saint John. She has forty plus grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters: Lydia Jukes, Clara Burke and Grace McCullum and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Thomas J. Dean and Edward J. Jeddry; her son, William Dean; two daughters, Deborah Wilson and Linda Dean; two step-daughters, Barb Hampton and Norma Humby. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Alzheimer’s Society of New Brunswick or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
