Obituary of Karen Rose Dempster

Passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on August 13th, 2010. Born at Saint John on March 3rd, 1962, she was a daughter of Louise (Wilcox) and the late John Stevens. Karen is survived by her husband James Dempster Sr., children James Dempster Jr., Jennie (Brandon) Brewer, of Edmonton, AB, and Adam Dempster, sisters Kimberly Gionet (Denis) of Saint John, Judy Leland (John) of St. George, and brother John Stevens of Saint John. She is also survived by grandchildren Alexis Dempster, Logan Brewer, nieces Jenny Mason, Alexandra, and nephews Denis, John Leland Jr., Steven, David, John Stevens Jr., and Caleb, as well as several great nieces and nephews. Karen was pre-deceased by her father John Stevens. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 7-9 pm, and Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment to take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
