Obituary of Constance Margaret Diggle

Diggle, Constance (Connie) M.- The death of Constance (Connie) M. Diggle of Gondola Point Road occurred unexpectedly at her residence on Monday, April 12, 2010. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Margaret (McCall) Diggle. Connie was a life-long resident of the Saint John area and graduated from the Saint John School of Nursing, and did private duty nursing for many years. She was a life member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Rothesay. Besides her parents, Connie was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur Norman Diggle and William Withnall Diggle, and one nephew, Ian Diggle. She is survived by one sister, Agnes (Nessie) Diggle of Rothesay; sister-in-law, Marjorie Diggle of Rothesay; two nephews, David Diggle (Deborah) of Montreal, QC, and Philip Diggle (Nina) of Clifton Royal, NB; and by several great nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), visiting will be on Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 16,, 2010 at 1:00pm at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 4 Church Avenue, Rothesay. Interment will take place in St. Luke’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Gondola Point, later in the spring. Remembrances made to the Salvation Army or Romero House would be appreciated by the family. www.brenansfh.com
