Obituary of Edward Joseph Cormier

Surrounded by his family, the passing of Edward Cormier, husband of Frances (Murphy) Cormier occurred on Monday, August 23, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on September 10, 1933 at Saint John to the late Edward Sr. and Lucy (Wilson) Cormier. Edward worked at the Saint John General Hospital for years, until his retirement. Besides his loving wife Frances, Edward is survived by his two stepdaughters: Gloria Cameron of Moncton and Connie Richards (Michael); stepson, Jimmie Cameron of Saint John; brother, Jack Cormier (Barbara) of Lepreau; sister, Lucy Lemieux (Maurice) of Halifax; several stepgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 2 PM. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
