Obituary of Phyllis Anderson

Anderson, Phyllis Allen (Fitzpatrick) passed away peacefully on August 13, 2010. Wife of the late J Orville Anderson (Andy), Phyllis was born April 11, 1925 on Jourmaine Island, Botsford Parish, West Co, NB. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Rebecca Fitzpatrick. Phyllis was a loving mother and wife, a capable homemaker and excellent quilter and cook. Phyllis had lived the last fifty plus years in the Brown's Flat area and was living at White Rapid's Manor, Fredericton Junction. Phyllis loved to go to bingo, play cards, attend her senior clubs and she thoroughly loved friends and family visits. She is survived by one son: Roderick (Debbie) Anderson of Brown's Flat; two daughters, Deborah (Laurie) Grover of Salmon Rock and Diana (Charlie) Davis of Brown's Flat; one brother, Max (Barb) Fitzpatrick of Riverview; three sisters; Marjorie (Bill) Thompson of Moncton, Faye Johnson (late Norman) of Sackville and Mary Sprague (late Stanley) of Sackville; two sisters-in-law, Helen (late Graydon) of Bayfield and Marion (late George) of Fredericton; eight grandchildren: Bart (Jeannette) Pickles of Port Moody, BC, Teana (Kelvin) Fields of Calgary; Harold (Jennifer) Anderson of Quispamsis; Craig (Sabrina) Cyr of Saint John; Brent (Dianne) Pickles of Okanagan Valley, BC, Vance (Chantal) Anderson of St. George; Chris Cyr of Summerside, PEI; Neal (Laura) Cyr of Colorado, USA; great grandchildren Holly, Emily, Grace, Grant, Ethan and Kaitlin Ann and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Phyllis was pre deceased by four sisters Josephine (late Charles), Patricia (late Hugh), Hester and Grace (late Bill), five brothers Graydon, Victor (late Blanche), George, Ralston (late Shelia) and Raymond (late Estelle). Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Rd, Saint John, West, 639-7425, with visitation from 6 to 8pm Tuesday August 17, 2010. Christian Service will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Brown's Flat United Church with service at 2:00 pm. Interment in the church cemetery. Following, the family invites all friends to a reception.
