Obituary of Francis Michael Hogan

The death of Francis Hogan of Westfield, NB, husband of Evelyn (Stairs) Hogan, occurred on Friday, October 1, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Petersville, NB on April 8, 1927 he was a son of the late James and Mary (Connors) Hogan.  Francis loved to go hunting and fishing and also enjoyed listening to fiddle music.  He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn; four children, Fredrick (Susan) Ingraham of Rothesay, NB; Hazel (Billy) Booker of Morrisdale, NB; David (Diane) Ingraham of Westfield, NB and Lorraine (David) May of Saint John, NB; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Gertrude Breen; one brother, Daniel Hogan; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by four brothers, John, William, James and Leo; three sisters Margaret, Sister Ethel Hogan and Evelyn.  Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425 with visiting on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 11:00 am from St. Augustine's Catholic Church, Grand Bay – Westfield, NB. Interment in St. Augustine's Cemetery.
