Obituary of Norman R. Weaver

Norman Weaver of Saint John passed away on October 5th, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital, after a period of declining health. Born on July 1st, 1932, he was a son of the late George and Mildred (Craft) Weaver. Norman worked as a steam ship checker, retiring in 1982. Norman is survived by his children Norman M. Weaver, Christopher Weaver and Patricia Phinney (Brian), brother, Donald Weaver, and sister Marjorie O'Toole. He is also survived by his grandchildren Tabitha Marie Doucet, Christopher Keleher, Andrew Weaver, Emily Weaver, Kara Ann Phinney, Patrick Phinney, Laura Phinney, as well as great-grandchildren Logan, Lucas and Aiden. In addition to his parents, Norman was pre-deceased by a son, Ricky, daughter, Kelly, brothers Fred, Kenneth, and Harold, sister Joan, and daughter-in-law Margaret Ann Weaver At Norman's request, there will be no formal visitation. A Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday, October 13th at 12:00 noon at St. George's Church, 100 Watson Street, Saint John West. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, or St. George's Church, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
