Obituary of Paul Burton Chetley

The sudden passing of Paul Chetley, husband of Heather (Giggey) Chetley, occurred on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, NS. He was born on October 29, 1948 at Saint John to the late Ronald and Pauline (Wetmore) Chetley. Paul owned and operated his own business Bay Glass and Metal, then joined Atlantic Windoor as Glass Mgr. Paul received his private pilot's license at an early age and was an avid sailor for many years. He was a past member of Lancaster Kiwanis Club and volunteered for many years with the Lancaster Minor Basketball Association.  Besides his loving wife Heather, Paul is survived by two sons: Mark of Saint John and Christopher (Samantha) of Toronto; brother, David of Toronto; sister, Mary Mitchell (Geoff) of Exeter, NH; and several nieces and nephews.  Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Rd, Saint John (634-7425) with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Bay View Chapel, 1461 Manawagonish Rd, on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
