Obituary of Joan Doucette

<p>DOUCETTE-the death of Joan Doucette of 2 Hydro Place, widow of Edward J. Doucette, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 15, 2010. Mrs. Doucette was born in Aldershot,. England, a daughter of the late John Patrick and Edith M. (Cuthmore) Magee, and had resided in Saint John since 1945. She enjoyed Halloween and would give treats and knitted mittens to the children. She loved her pets. She was a member of the Silver Threads Senors and the C.N.I.B. She is survived by three sons, Michael Edward (Veronica) of Niagara Falls, Ont., Vincent John(Dawn) of Fredericton, and Bryan Peter (Ron) of Halifax; one daughter Brenda Marie Doucette (Wayne) of Saint John; one brother, Peter Magee of Oxford, England; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church on Thursday morning at eleven o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. <br /><br /></p>
