Obituary of Carol Ann Jones

JONES: Carol Ann

Unexpectedly at home with Donald, her husband of 56 years by her side, Carol Ann Jones (nee Roberts) passed away on Monday, June 20th, 2022, at the age of 76. Beloved daughter of the late Robert and Eileen Roberts (nee O’Keefe).

Carol is survived by her siblings David Roberts (Carol Anne), Don Roberts (Karen), Bruce Roberts (Jill), and sister-in-law Nancy Webster (Ian), as well as by Edna Hill.

Throughout her working years Carol was a certified pharmacy-technician with Shoppers Drug Mart West.

She will be deeply missed by her husband and children Lori Nason (Chris), Brett Jones (Beth), and Christie Georgoudis (George). Her grandchildren Kathryn & Cara Nason, Tessa Jones, and Emilie, Nicole & Alexa Georgoudis will forever hold their YaYa in their hearts. They will always remember her endless love and attention.

She lived her life caring for others. Everyone knew of Carol's wonderful generosity and love. She was constant in providing selfless acts of support to her family and friends. For this, she was deeply loved.

Her Home has been a focal point for the Family to enjoy wonderful gatherings with delicious meals & treats. Not just at an expected Holiday event, but every time we were there.

Carol and Donnie shared a passion for sailing. She was a lifelong member of the Martinon Yacht Club. Carol was on the River as an infant with Nanny & Grampie Roberts. Together, Donnie and Carol introduced their Family to sailing and the beauty of the River. These are everlasting memories.

Besides her parents, Carol was predeceased by her mother and father-in-law Donald M. and Ruth Jones (nee MacFarlane).

Cremation will take place, with a Private Committal Service to follow at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home (634-7424).

Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences and memories are shared at www.BrenansFH.com.
