Obituary of M. Katherine 'Kay' O'Keefe

The death of Mary Katherine “Kay” O’Keefe of Germain Street, Saint John, NB, occurred Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Fairville, NB on May 21, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Michael M. and Mary Jane (Clark) O’Keefe. Kay was employed at the Board of School Trustee of 25 years retiring in 1991. Survived by her brothers, Ronald of Moncton, NB and George of Harvey, NB; sisters, Mary MacDonald of Moncton, NB, Margaret Allen of Saint John, as well as several nieces and nephews. Kay was predeceased by her brother, Tom O’Keefe; sisters, Doreen Campbell and Jean Purdy. At Kay’s request there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 10:00 AM from St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery.
