Obituary of Lynn Payn

Lynn Payn died peacefully on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022 at SJRH surrounded by her four children. Lynn was raised in Cut Bank, Montana and met her beloved husband Kit while working as a teacher in the Bahamas.   They moved back to Canada and raised their 4 children, moving from Coast to Coast with Kit's career at RBC.  Lynn was the glue that held the family together.    An avid gardener, Lynn also spent her spare time golfing, walking and reading.   She and Kit had a passion for travel that took them on great adventures to Africa, Australia, Europe and Russia.  Lynn was predeceased by Kit (Dec 28, 2021), her parents Mary and Wilbur Werner as well as her brother Kirwin Werner.

 

She is survived by her four children David (Caroline) of Fort Langley BC, Mara (Kelly) of Rothesay NB, Kristin (Steve) of Dartmouth NS and Jim (Jessica) of North Vancouver BC and her 9 grandchildren Kayla, Chris, Gabrielle, Frederique, Bronwyn, Samuelle, Maddy, Jackson and Kate.  She is also survived by her sister Purnee (Don) of Golden Colorado, sister Chari (Jim) of Helena Montana, brother Mark (Vera) of Billings Montana and sister-in-Law Carol Werner (Ronan Montana).

 

The family would like to thank Dr. Monica Graves, Dr. Love, Dr. Wildish and especially Dr. Natalie Graves for their care.

 

Arrangements are under the care and directions of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row., Saint John (634-7424). The funeral mass will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 31 Gondola Point Road, Rothesay on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022 at 11 am. For those unable to attend, the funeral mass will be live-streamed and can be viewed by visiting Lynn's memorial page on Brenan's website. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery (Hampton Rd, Rothesay).
