GREENLAW: Judith “Judy”

We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Judith “Judy” Greenlaw, of Saint John, at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 4th, 2022.

She was the beloved youngest daughter of the late Leroy and Julia Marshall (nee Logan). Judy will be forever missed by her fiancée Kevin Reick.

Dear mother of Daniel Greenlaw (Stephanie) of Maine, Mark Greenlaw (Trish) of New York, and Malcolm Greenlaw (Sam) of Maine.

Judy will be forever remembered by her grandchildren Ryan Greenlaw, Julianna Littlefield (Damion), Austin Chase, Sabrina DeBold, Cheryl DeBold, Gabrielle Greenlaw, Devin Greenlaw, Ezarah Greenlaw, Tyler Davis, and Nehemiah Greenlaw; great grandchildren Carstin Poole, Meyanna Poole, Cody Poole Jr., Crius Poole, Paxton Littlefield, Finnegan Chase, Osmond Chase, and Jackson Yargeau.

Judy is survived by her siblings Ardith Bartlett of Saint John, Elizabeth “Betty” Marshall-Robin of Saint John, Charles “Chuck” Marshall (Mimi) of Maine, Roy Marshall of Saint John, Robert Marshall (Valerie) of Saint John, and Michael Marshall of Saint John, as well as by many nieces and nephews.

Judy was so appreciative of the special bond she shared with her niece and best friend Ardeth Cyr, as well as her granddaughter Julianna Greenlaw.  

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her grandson Isaac, nephew Richard Bartlett, and great niece Robin Bartlett.

Judy was a humble soul who loved well. Her caring nature compelled her to return to school, graduating as a Personal Support Worker. She had a witty sense of humour, and enjoyed entertaining others not only through laughter, but delicious home cooking too. Judy lived in York Beach, Maine for many years and always dreamed of one more visit.

Cremation has taken place. A private reception to celebrate Judy’s life will be held on Friday, August 12th, 2022, at Brenan’s Funeral Home (634-7424), 111 Paradise Row, Saint John.
