Obituary of David Malcolm Belmore

It is with broken hearts that the family of David Malcolm Belmore announces his passing on September 12, 2022. Born in Mississauga, ON on November 1, 1978, he was the beloved son of Sandra Belmore (Victor Daley) and the late David Belmore.

David was a die-hard hockey and baseball fan to the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays.  He really enjoyed yelling at the television and never missed a game.  David also enjoyed working with wood and coming up with different wood creations. His favorite piece was a bench with his family names.  David loved spending time with his family and especially loved spending time with his children and precious dog Minnie.

In addition to his mother and Victor, David will be sadly missed by his adored children Devan and Brooklyn Belmore; stepdaughter Madison Deschenes; sisters: Tabatha (Mike), Tammy (Chris) and Vicki (Geoff); the mothers of his children Angela Roy and Sara Belmore; along with many nieces and nephews, great niece & nephew, cousins, and extended family.

David was predeceased by his father; grandparents: Gordon and Pearl Gunn and Malcolm and Jean Belmore.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424), there will be a visitation on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday, September 16, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  A Grave Side Service will be held immediately following the visitation at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery (1650 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB).  At David’s request, casual dress is preferred.  For those who wish, memorial donations to Diabetes Canada NB, IWK or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by family, and online condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com.

Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.

For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game.

Go Jays Go.
