Irene worked at T S Simms Brush Factory for 25 years retiring in 2011. She was a very caring soul worrying about family and friends and usually always had the parting words “Call me when you get home”. As a nephew put it “She was always the joyful life of the party “

She definitely lived her life on her own terms and to the fullest that she could, enjoying her family, friends, music and good times. She loved going to 'Sista' Doreen's camp at South Oromocto Lake Rd sitting around the bon-fire with a tod, cruising the roads visiting the other campers or down to the lake at the Vaughan's camp where everyone use to gather. She loved Baseball (Go Blue Jays) and Hockey (Go HABS Go), Star Trek to The Walking Dead ... Irene was uniquely Irene and she leaves a huge hole in our world. Rest Easy SisTar till we meet again ...
