Obituary of Frances Lillian Morehouse

Morehouse, Frances Lillian (nee Gallant)

Peacefully, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Saturday, October 8^th, 2022, Frances Lillian Morehouse passed away at the age of 95. Born in Prince Edward Island on April 16^th, 1927, daughter of the late Peter and Mary Gallant (nee Carrigan).

Beloved mother of Jim (Kathy), Linda (Jim), Jean (Dennis), Carol (Bob), David (Rose), Kelly (Walt), Bev (Dennis), and Sue (Gary).

Dear sister of Marion, Theresa, Edward, and Judy.

Frances will be deeply missed, and fondly remembered by her 19 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Rita, Reggie, Alfred, Carmie, Irene, Thelma, and Dorothy; her son Brian Barton, and her grandson Gary Morton Jr.

Frances enjoyed people, and this shone through in her long-time vocation as a waitress.

Friends and family will be received at Brenan’s Funeral Home (634-7424), 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, on Thursday, October 13^th, 2022, from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm; where the Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday afternoon at 2pm. Interment to follow in Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John.

For those unable to attend in person, the Funeral Liturgy will be livestreamed via the Funeral Home website.
