Obituary of Morris Ennis Brewer

It is with great sadness that the family of Morris Ennis Brewer announces his passing which occurred on December 25, 2024, at the Sussex Health Centre. Born in Saint John, NB on April 14, 1939, he was a son of the late Ennis and Margaret (Humphrey) Brewer.

Prior to his retirement, Morris had a longtime working career with Irving Oil.  He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Morris leaves behind his children, Christina, Carol (Douglas), Ennis (Brenda), Helen (Daryl); brother, Douglas; sister, Doreen; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Morris was predeceased by his wife, Shirley; and sister, Catherine.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). With visitation on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Donations in memory of Morris may be made to Diabetes Canada.
