Obituary of Rolley Donald Briggs

It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of Rolley Donald Briggs on Wednesday January 29, 2025, at the Kings Way Care Center after a period of failing health. Born in Bald Hill, N.B., on April 24, 1943, Rolley was a son of the late Leslie Alden Briggs and Kathleen (Carrol) Briggs, and beloved husband of Judith Ruth (Buckley) Briggs.

Rolley was a truck driver and retired a few years ago when he became ill, he was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to fish and hunt. Rolley was also a card player and enjoyed Saturday and Sunday Card games with his family and friends for many years.

Rolley is survived by his wife; Judith Ruth (Buckley) Briggs, of Kars, N.B., one son; Donald Hartley Briggs, of Kars, N.B., one sister; Emily Dawna Wilson, of Ontario.

Rolley was predeceased by his parents Leslie and Kathleen Briggs, and one brother; Stephen Leslie Briggs.

The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (506 634 1701). As per Rolley’s wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no visiting or funeral service at this time. Online condolences can be made at www. Castlefh.ca
