To all the Watt family,
What a wonderful tribute to a remarkable human being. Your Dad had such an impact on all who met him. So friendly and generous with his time for others. Carl and I enjoyed many fun times with your gorgeous Mom and Dad. I know you will miss him immensely. I am sending big hugs from the Sherwood family. With love

Our condolences to the Watt Family. We got to know Jim well at St. David's Church where he usually sat in the same seat and we had a regular char on the way by. As Ann was in the choir, he had to come early which suited him well as he got to chat with everyone before the service. We even talked politics sometimes!

The Watt Family, your dad was an amazing man. I remember our times in the pool- him throwing the ball in the air and us taking turns jumping to catch it! The box of ice creams he would bring to our delight! During their bridge games asking to check out our candy bags as Ann would say "Jim leave the kids' candy alone!" Lots of wonderful childhood memories! So sorry for your loss Raeanne (Long) and Nick Dunn

Dear Darlene, Rick, Rob, Randy, Debbie, Deanne & families
Our hearts are broken to learn you have lost your wonderful Dad & Gramps. He was larger than life & one of the best
friends, along with his dear Annie, any couple could ever hope to have. So many wonderful memories: weddings,
anniversaries, boxing day parties, dinners, weekends sailing on the river, impromptu drop-ins, golfing & so much
more, hold a very special place in our hearts. Your Dad will be sorely missed by everyone who chose to call him
their friend.
Please accept our most sincere condolences & know only circumstances have prevented us from being there for him.
With love
Dave & Wanda

On behalf of the MacGillivray family please accept our condolences on the passing of your Father. I have only the fondest memories of Jim, like his obituary indicated, he had a laugh that was infectious. I remember as a young twenty something being at the Watt residence, being treated as a welcome person, who he was genuinely interested in getting to know. Another fond memory of Jim was seeing him standing at the corner glass of the Rothesay rink watching his boys toil in the KVGHL. Whether it was Randy, Rick or Rob he was always there taking in a game. He was certainly one of a kind.

Jim Watt was the King of the valley. He was a mentor and a coach to me for so many things in my life. I will always remember his wonderful sense of humour, loyalty and mentorship. They broke the mould when they made Jim-always larger than life and he lives on in his children and grandchildren. To all of the Watts my deepest sympathies, Jim has truly left a deep legacy in our community as a builder.
I could always depend on Jim and Ann for advice, friendship and support and forever grateful for the many kindness he showed me and my kids. Rip old friend xo

Maggie and I are heart-broken to learn of the passing of Jim....To the entire Watt family and extended family and friends , we know how difficult it is at this time...such a great loss. On balance , Jim was an icon, and during my formative years as Mayor, Renforth , back in the day , he was truly a great mentor and a huge supporter of our community and around the Fundy Mayors group. His knowledge /experience and assistance was incredible. In these darkest days days know that his legacy lives on and shines brightly through the numerous fond memories. R.I.P. Jim.
