I will share a memory with you of my first encounter with Bobby. They had moved to Eagle Rock in 1966. Wow! Now that’s a ways back. They came to the school in Welsford. I was in grade 7, I’m not sure if Mr. Bobby was grade 7 or 8 at the time because the class was combined. But he sat behind me. Mr. Kruglund was teaching, I am sure Bobby was “very interested in the subject matter”. Because he kept pulling my hair to the point I yelled at him and disrupted the whole class. Just what he wanted. Disrupting the class instead of boring studies. . This was Bobby.
God will gain a blessed soul in heaven as we loose him here, but you will see him again.

I am so sorry for the loss of Bobby (or as mom Marilyn Holden always called him Robert), where do I even begin, when my family moved to Welsford when I was in Grade 1, Bobby became one of our first babysitters, along with Travis, Bonny, Brian S, Cally and many more, they were like family to all of us - Charlotte, myself, Mark and Rob Holden, they were always there for us for whatever we may need or just to talk to. Bobby then went on to work with our Dad ( Dennis Holden). Donna yours and Bobby was the first wedding I attended way back then almost 50 years ago :) I believe there may be pictures :) Melissa, you were the sunshine of your dad's eye, he was so proud of you when you were born, your Mom and Dad's place was like a second home for all of us growing up, while they were still growing up themselves. My grandson now 8 has always fondly called Bobby "the Man in the Garage" we would drive through the bridge coming out of Cochrane Lane, he would always comment " I wonder if the Man in the Garage is out today?" I feel such a loss for all of you! Jack and Andrew know your Papa was proud to be your Papa. You are all in our thoughts and prayers
