Richard Cullinan posted a condolence
Monday, March 3, 2025
Dear Cathy and Family,
So sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Bernard. Although my memories are a little sketchy of Bernard, I remember him from our family's visits to St. John back in the fifties (and early sixties), and him being teased about being the"baby of the family" and what a great sport he was. My sincere condolences.

On behalf of myself, my wife Catherine and our 2 children, Olivia and Bridget, we extend our deepest condolences to my sister Cathy and all the Cullinan family on the recent passing of Bernard. We have so many wonderful memories of spending time together over the years, great family time with so many laughs- sharing meals, thoughtful banter and of course playing various games of cards during all the enjoyable visits to our house and cottage. Bernard will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His calm manner and witty sense of humour made him an absolute delight to be around. We will miss you.We look forward to being part of the celebration of his life at a later date. With much love, Karl and family.

So many happy childhood memories visiting our Cullinan cousins in Saint John every summer, and being always warmly welcomed by Grammy, Bernard and Cathy. Somehow it took all day to drive there, but it was always worth it to be with family, surrounded by love.

Cathy and the Cullinan children - we are so sad to learn of Bernard's passing. He was always such a sweet and gentle man and always had a great smile on his face. I knew Bernie quite well in the old days from 1976 till he retired . I well recall him practicing law with his friend Gerry Casey and later with the City of Saint John . A good guy ,whose word was his bond . I never had an issue with him either with Casey or with the city .. He was a good fella and very easy to work with and always with a hearty laugh .. My condolences to his widow and children and extended family
