Obituary of Jacqueline "Jackie" Marlene London
It is with broken hearts that the family of Jacqueline “Jackie” London of Saint John, cherished wife and best friend of Mark London, announce her passing which occurred on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on March 27, 1964 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Dorothy (Brown) Torrie.
Jackie’s pride and joy was her family and she especially looked forward to the times spent with her wonderful grandchildren who were her world. She always took great comfort in surrounding herself in nature, as Jackie had a “green thumb” and loved flower gardening, working in the yard and enjoying the birds, squirrels and deer that would often visit her property. She loved a good deal and always looked forward to yard sale season. Jackie loved Christmas time, she was highly organized and liked her space clean. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Besides her husband, Mark, Jackie will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her children, Corey Torrie (Kerry) and Autumn Torrie-Wilband (Kevin); step-son, Dakota Veniot; precious grandchildren, Dominick, Faith, Shyla-Jay, Harper, Wrenlee and Sawyer; step-grandchildren, Lulla and Hannah; siblings, John Torrie (Julia), Stevie Torrie (Raymond), Bryce Torrie (Leah) and Philip Torrie; special in-laws, George and Lu London; brother-in-law, Dana London (Miriam) and their son, Mitchelle; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Candace and nephew, Bryce.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) where visitation will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM. A funeral service in Brenan’s Chapel will follow for family only.
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
