Dianne and Family
I am truly saddened to hear of Cecil’s passing. I have many good memories of working with Cecil over the years, he was always a great guy to be around. Smart as a whip, quick to work together on a problem and also good at separating the wheat from the chaff. I believe my favourite memory was when Cecil, along with Gregg Russell and my brother Jack started the tradition of going to the Fundy golf course in September of each year. We had a lot of good laughs and a fun time, playing cards and playing at golf!
In the coming days I pray that all of you will be surrounded by family, many memories, and comfort in knowing that Cecil was always appreciated by many and will be greatly missed.

We had some wonderful times together! Cecil showed us all around NB, taught us all the traditions
He made a hard time of transition for us so much easier. We’ll never meet a kinder soul, nor a more giving Man, so willing to share his time and knowledge.
Love you Cecil
Rest In Peace

From the members at Hampton Curling Club: We send our condolences to Diane and the family. Cecil is fondly remembered as a long time member of the board of directors and a curler. Cecil volunteered his time generously in many club activities particularly Saturday morning Crystals and club breakfasts. Cecil had great talent in organizing and motivating. He was a natural leader and a fine curler. He will be greatly missed at Hampton Curling.

I was so sorry to hear of Cecil’s passing, he will be missed greatly by many. I have some great memories of our many trips to the Kozy Korner to meet Cecil for our Saturday breakfasts. He loved to get Dad going on their breakfast chats and then head out for their weekly drive around town to see what was going on in Hampton. Also, there was their back and forth games of crib, always saying each other didn’t count the points right. He was a great man and cared about his family, friends and community. My deepest condolences to you and all that loved and cared for him.

Sending along my sincerest condolences for Cecil’s family and friends. I first met and worked with him in 1996, and then again often over the years for almost 30 years. He was always seen as a wealth of knowledge, and wise and even council. I am sure he will be greatly missed. I hope and pray that your wonderful memories of Cecil, will give you comfort through this tough time.

I’m so sorry to hear that Cecil has passed. What a wonderful guy he was. In addition to working with Cecil at NBTel, I had the great pleasure of playing golf and socializing with him in our annual weekend outings with employees from NBTel and NBPower. Cecil was the organizer and master of ceremonies. He had a dry sense of humour and always a twinkle in his eye. He became a great friend and he will be missed by many. My sincere condolences to Diane and the family.

To the family of Cecil - I worked with Cecil at NBTel, and also worked with him after he retired the first time, curled with him many times and played whip pitch with him and agin him and preferred the former. Cecil always made time to talk about anything you wanted to talk about. May the many memories and stories you will now recall, help you to find hope and peace at this difficult time.

Our deepest sympathies to Dianne and Family on Cecil’s passing.
I was fortunate to work with Cecil not only during our NBTel days but also at other locations and other companies after retirement.
Cecil was a very kind and caring fellow and I always enjoyed time spent in his company and chatting.
I pleased to see the reference to Cecil as a whip pitch phenomenon mentioned in his obituary as a faced Cecil’s whip pitch many times with Cecil most often coming out on top.
May you all draw strength from the many wonderful memories of Cecil that you hold deep in your soul.
