Obituary of Gerald Welding Bastian

It is with great sadness that the family of Gerald W. Bastian announce his passing which occurred on March 29, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on September 20, 1945, in Saint John, NB, to the late Carl and Mary (Mulherien) Bastian.

Gerald will be missed by his daughters Lisa (Kevin) and Amy (Shane), and siblings Timothy, Wanda, Randy, and Flo. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by the mother of his children, Sharon, daughter Marie, sister Louise, and brother Jimmy.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). A celebration of Gerald’s life will be held in Brenan’s Reception Centre on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
