Obituary of Paul Clifton Cole

 

It is with heart felt sorrow, the family of Paul Clifton Cole, husband of the late Muriel (Hopey) Cole, announce his passing on Monday, April 14, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

 

Born on April 24, 1938, in Spencer’s Island, NS, he was a son of the late Carl and Florence (Blenkhorn) Cole.  Paul was a construction worker for many years with various companies. He was a hard worker and well respected in his trade. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his cars and spending time with his family.

 

Paul is survived by his sons; Paul Jr. (Debbie) of Quispamsis, David (Leslie) of Saint John, and Charles (Manon) of Saint John, sister Mary Blenkhorn of Rothesay, grandchildren;  Patience Cole (Jason Inness), Steven Cole (Alejandra), Lindsay MacDonald (Greg), Cohen Cole, Tiana Cole, and Canyen Cole, great grandchildren; Dax MacDonald, Aydan Cole, Livia Cole, Austin Cole, and Oliver Cole, nephew Tony Cole, and nieces; Charity Fancy, and Cathy Allain, as well as extended family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

 

Besides his wife and parents, Paul was predeceased by his daughter Nancy Cole, brothers, Art, Karl, and Brian, and his sister Brenda Fancy.

 

A special thank you to Tammy Waddell, for her care and compassion towards Paul in the last couple of years, your kindness will never be forgotten.

 

Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119) with visiting on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM from Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home. Interment to take place at Holy Trinity Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, donations in memory of Paul, can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
