Obituary of Ralph Edwin Glass

It is with great sadness that the family of Ralph Edwin Glass announces his sudden passing on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Embassy Hall at Shannex Parkland in the Valley.

Born in Saint John, NB, Ralph was the son of the late John and Nina (Saunders) Glass. He is survived by his children; Debra (Roger), Shelley, and John (Karen); his granddaughters Kelsey (Alex), and Katey (Evan); and his great-grandsons, Avery and Eli.

Ralph proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 35 years, a career that took him from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Comox, British Columbia, and countless places in between. Throughout his life, Ralph enjoyed playing cribbage, golf, curling, fishing, and the occasional game of poker with friends.

He was predeceased by his three brothers and three sisters.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Embassy Hall for their compassionate care – it was greatly appreciated.

In accordance with Ralph’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119). If so inclined, donations to Embassy Hall Garden Project would be appreciated.
