Obituary of Lloyd Francis

It is with broken hearts the family announce the passing of Raymond Lloyd Francis on Thursday April 24, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Saint John, N.B. on July 1, 1940, Lloyd was the son of the late Raymond Francis and Helen Patricia (Day) Francis, and beloved husband of Sharon Elma (Webb) Francis. He was a loving and generous, father and husband.

Lloyd is survived by his wife; Sharon Elma (Webb) Francis, sons; Kevin Francis of Gagetown, Trevor (Teena) Francis, of Brown’s Flat, Jonathan (Katelyn) Plant, of Saint John, and Michael (Kayla) Plant, of Public Landing, seven grandchildren, and one great grandson.

Lloyd was predeceased by his parents; Raymond and Helen Francis, infant brother, Lester Francis, and brother; Blair Francis, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The arrangements have been entrusted to Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, N.B. (506-634-1701). A visitation will take place at Living Victory Church, 101 Wilton Street, Saint John, N.B., on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. A funeral service will take place at 2:00pm followed by a reception at the church. Interment to follow at Browns Flats cemetery.
