Obituary of Colleen Margot Boucher

Colleen Margot Boucher passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 28^th  at St. John St. Stephen Nursing Home. Colleen was born on December 2, 1938 in Saint John, NB to the late John and Helen (Melanson) Logue.

Colleen will be dearly missed by her children; Gary Boucher, Roger Boucher, Ricky Boucher (Pam), Hughie Boucher, Janet MacDonald (Shawn), and Paul Boucher, grandchildren; Carrie, Angie, Gary jr., Brad, Stephanie, Kevin, Maria, Matthew, Jenny, Jessie, Nicole, Brandon, Andrew, Katherine, and Alyssa, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Colleen was predeceased by her husband Edmund Boucher, daughter Cathy Sweeney, son Stephen Boucher, brother Ronnie Logue, and daughters in law Cindi Boucher and Mary Newman.

Colleen was active in her parish, she was a member of the CWL, and part of the scouting movement. She enjoyed bowling in the Women’s league at the westside Bowlarama and knitting.        

Arrangements are under the care of Castle Fallsview Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M 2L3 506-634-1701. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Holy Spirit Parish (St. Rose of Lima Worship site) on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 12:00 Noon.  Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery with reception at Castle Fallsview Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations in Colleen’s memory can be made to the Bruce Melanson Scholarship Fund or a charity of the donor’s choice.
