Obituary of Shuhong Yang

A broken heart news announced by Shuhong Yang of family is about her passing away on June 3, 2025, at Saint John Regional Hospital. 

Born on October 5, 1964, in Jinghai, Tianjin, China, she was a daughter of Tianhua Yang and Shufeng Zou.  She was married to her loving husband Yingwu Zhou in 1992. On 1993, she became a pride mother, who give birth to their only son Ruifeng Zhou. 

 A graduate and postgraduate of Tianjin university, Yang worked for 9 years in the first chemical design institute.  

Yang and her family immigrated to Saint John, NB, Canada in 2001. She worked in Fluor for near 19 years as senior process engineer. In 2020 she moved to Irving Oil Refinery, and continued to server her duty. 

 An outstanding senior process engineer, mother, Yang is deeply loved by her husband and her son. She is also thanked by her father Tianhua Yang, her older brother Zuobin Yang, her older sister Shudi Yang, her younger sister Shufang Yang, and her younger brother Zuojie Yang.                       

Shuhong Yang’s family would like to thank the doctor and nursing staff of 4C North at the Saint John Regional Hospital for their tender care,  as well her all friends and her coworkers’ deep sympathy, and special thanks to Greater Saint John Chinese Cultural Association for the big help on everything.

杨淑红女士讣告 

我们怀着无比沉痛的心情宣告：杨淑红女士于2025年6月3日在圣约翰地区医院与世长辞。 

她1964年10月5日出生于中国天津市静海区，是杨天华先生与邹树凤女士的爱女。1992年与挚爱丈夫周英武结为连理，1993年诞下独子周睿峰，成为一位引以为豪的母亲。 

杨女士先后就读于天津大学本科及研究生院，毕业后曾任职于第一化工设计院长达九年。2001年，她举家移民加拿大新不伦瑞克省圣约翰市，随后在福陆公司担任高级工艺工程师近十九载。2020年转入欧文炼油厂，继续恪尽职守。 

作为一位杰出的高级工艺工程师和慈爱的母亲，杨女士深受丈夫与儿子的敬爱。其父杨天华、长兄杨作彬、长姐杨树弟、妹妹杨淑芳及幼弟杨作杰亦在此表达深切缅怀。 

杨淑红女士家属谨向圣约翰地区医院4C北区医护团队的悉心照护致以谢忱，同时感谢所有亲友同事的诚挚慰问，特别鸣谢大圣约翰华人文化协会在各项事宜中的鼎力相助。
