Obituary of Scott William Crawford

It is with great sadness that the family of Scott William Crawford "Crow", of Saint John, NB, fiancé of Kristi Forsyth, announces his passing on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on November 13, 1969, he was a son of John and Shirley (Grant) Crawford. Scott was a loving son, fiancé, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A kind and giving friend, Scott enjoyed life to the fullest whether it was golfing, fishing, ice fishing, geocaching, skiing, hiking, kayaking or camping. He was an avid hockey player and loved to travel. One of his favorite past times was cooking and often referred to himself as the "chef". Scott worked at Moosehead Breweries for 25 years. He is survived by his parents, John and Shirley, fiancée, Kristi, brother, Brian (Dawn King); two nieces, Maya Jane Crawford and Jordan King; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Scott was predeceased by his grandparents, an aunt and uncle. Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) with visiting on Monday from 2-9 pm and Tuesday from 9-12 noon. A Witness to the Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 2:00 pm from Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 360 Dufferin Row. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Scott Crawford Memorial Fund, The Give 2013 (SJRH) or donor’s choice.
