Obituary of Murray Hazen McKee
The death of Murray Hazen McKee husband of the late Peggy (Crawford) McKee occurred at Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 26. 2013. Born in Saint John on September 4, 1925, he was the son of the late Thomas B. McKee and the late Elizabeth T. (Galbraith) McKee.
Murray was a mechanic by trade and had worked for O’Brien Motors, Port City Motors and in his early days he was truck driver with Gandy and Allison.
He is survived by his son David, daughter Krista, grandchildren Aaron, Stephen McKee both of BC, Shawn McKee, Shyanne McGovern and Logan McKee, Saint John, great granddaughter, Jessica McKee, BC.
Murray will also be remembered by daughter-in-law, Betty Ann McKee, BC and brother-in-law, Don (Helen) Crawford and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sons, Bobby and Norman.
Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Bay View Chapel on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Palliative Care Unit at Saint John Regional Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
