Obituary of Audrey Ilene Forgey

The death of Audrey I. (Porter) Forgey of Kennebec Manor occurred peacefully at her residence on Monday, April 07, 2014. Audrey was the wife of the late James Leslie Greer and the late Wallace A. Forgey. She was born in Porterville, NL on October 18, 1926 and was a daughter of the late Caleb and Sarah (Ball) Porter. Audrey spent the greater part of her life in the Saint John area and enjoyed cooking, nature and her family. She is survived by one son Steven (Chantal) Forgey; three daughters, Patricia Seeds (Roy Neil), Debra Greer, Denise (Don) Baillie; daughter-in-law, Pinky Greer; one brother, Max (Sheila) Porter; one sister, Minnie Haynes; five grandchildren; Stacy, Peter, Heather, Monica and Erin; eight great-grandchildren; Matthew, Mitchell, Kristin, Brett, Josie, Cody, Leto and Alder. Audrey was predeceased by two sons; Walter and Larry Greer and a daughter, Maxine Greer; son-in-law, Larry Seeds; two brothers, Harold and Harrison Porter; several sisters, Lucy, Edith, Phyllis, Edna, Jessie, Gladys and Julie. Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home (634-7425), 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB with visiting hours Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 6 – 8 pm and Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the Bay View Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery, Nerepis, NB later in the spring.
