Obituary of David William Currie
The death of David William Currie, husband of Barbara (Campbell) Currie, occurred on October 2, 2002, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Minto, NB, he was the son of the late Howard Currie and Glenna (Barton) Walsh. He was formerly employed with Saint John Ship Building Ltd. where he was a member of Local #3 and was currently employed with the Atlantic Super Store, Quispamsis. He was an avid bowler being a former member of Saint John Bowlarama Aces and currently a member of the Saint John Bowlarama Vipers and belonged to the NBCBA. Besides his wife he is survived by his son Lawrence of Toronto, ON, his step-father Raymond Walsh and his wife Edna of Chipman, his brothers Lawrence Walsh and his wife Carlotta of Musquash, NB, Arnold Walsh and his wife Barbara of Minto, Allen Walsh and his wife Debbie of Minto, his sister Lorraine Kiervin of Rothesay, and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424) with visiting on Friday from 2-9 PM. Following cremation graveside prayers will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2002, at 2:00 PM, at the United Baptist Cemetery Extension, Newcastle Creek. Remembrances made to the Saint John United Way would be appreciated by the family
