Obituary of Walter Alvin Clark

The death of Mr. Walter Alvin Clark of Saint John, NB, husband on the late Irene (Ferris) Clark, occurred on Saturday, November 16, 2002 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Noble and Louise (Carson) Clark. For many years, until his retirement, Walter had been employed with the Port of Saint John as a Night Watchman. Walter was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his step-son, Bill (Susan) Clark of Musquash, NB, his step-daughter, Linda and her husband Egbert, as well as several nieces and nephews, and will be remembered as a special "grandfather" to Sarah, Tanya, Shelley, and Billy. He was predeceased by his wife, Irene, his parents, sisters, Mary, Helen, Eveyline, Elvera, Muriel and Jenny, and brothers, David, Fred, Noble, and Roberts. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424, with visitation on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2002, at 11:00 AM from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
