Obituary of David Francis Swanton

The death of Mr. David Francis Swanton of Rothesay, NB, husband of Elinor McDonald-Swanton, occurred on Sunday, November 17, 2002 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, on April 7, 1947, he was the son of the late William F. and Helen M. (Amburg) Swanton. David was an Electrical Engineer with NB Tel for many years before his retirement. Besides his wife, Elinor, David is survived by one son, Alexander William Swanton at home and several cousins. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Rothesay, NB, on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery.
