Obituary of Eric Kenneth Nice

The death of Mr. Eric Kenneth Nice of 220 Waterloo Street, Saint John, occurred unexpectedly on Thursday, December 12, 2002, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, on May 30, 1960, he was the son of the late William and Helen (Cook) Nice. Eric was a welder at the Saint John Dry dock for over 20 years, before his retirement, and was a volunteer with the Mission Center on Sewell Street. He is survived by two daughters, Amanda Challoner and Tara Chaisson, four brothers, Rick (Dianne), Stephen (Judy), Joel (Rose) and Gary (Crystal), all of Saint John, one sister, Muriel Brennan (Jack) of Hampton, one grand-daughter, Kantana, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, December 16, 2002 at 1:00 PM. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
