Obituary of Kenneth Walter Grant

The death of Mr. Kenneth Walter Grant of 36 Jean Street, Saint John, husband of Lillian F. (Hurley) Grant, occurred on Saturday, October 12, 2002, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Carr and Maude (Dunlop) Grant. Mr. Grant was employed with Pilkington Glass and Speedy Auto Glass for many years, before his retirement. Besides his wife, he is survived by four step-sons, Douglas Osborne of Saint John, Mark Osborne (Susan) of British Columbia, Ralph Osborne (Tamara) of Toronto, ON and Mike Osborne of Jakarta, Indonesia, daughter-in-law, Penny Osborne of Saint John, several grandchildren, and special family friend, Dora Watson of Saint John. He was predeceased by one sister Isabel. By request, there will be no visiting. A memorial service will be held at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), on Tuesday, October 15, 2002 at 2:00 PM. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Rocmaura Nursing Home or the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
