Obituary of Edward Charles Lee

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, the death of Edward Charles Lee of Cranston Ave. husband of Doris (Evans) Lee, occurred on Thursday, December 12, 2002 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Robert and Ida (Friars) Lee. Edward was employed as a truck driver for Armour Transport until his retirement. He is survived by one son Martin, one daughter Gail (Bill) Oram all of Saint John, two brothers; Donald (Patricia) of Dipper Harbour, Gordon of Surrey, BC, three sisters; Dianne (Robert) Schaefer of Martinon, Marie (Gerald) Poirier and Eleanor (Gunter) Matzen all of Saint John, four grandchildren Alexandra Saunders, Justin and Alyssa Oram, Kayla Reed, several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he is predeceased by one brother Bobby Lee, three sisters Vivian Martin, Connie Martin and Phyllis Allen. By request there will be no visiting. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2002 at 11:00 AM from Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home Chapel 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424). Interment at a later date.
