Obituary of Ronald Irving Peters

The death of Ron Peters of Ocean Westway, Saint John West, son of the late Carl and Pauline (Yuill) Peters occurred on Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at his residence. Ron worked most of his life for J. D. Irving Ltd., mostly in construction, until his retirement. He had a passion for life and his family, living his life to the fullest. Ron had a true love of the ocean, gardening and was an avid reader. Ron is survived by two sons Andrew (Jennifer) Peters of Rothesay, NB, his mother Diane (Fawcett) Peters also of Rothesay, NB, and Greg Peters of Alberta; two brothers Gerald (Shirley) Peters of Truro, NS, and John Peters of Moncton, NB; two grandchildren Madeline and Anderson Peters; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he is predeceased by one brother James Peters. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visitation on Friday June 18, 2004, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday June 19, 2004 at 2 pm from Old Barns United Church (near Truro NS). Interment in Old Barns Cemetery will take place after the service. Remembrances may be to the Glenn Carpenter Centre.
