Obituary of Donald Kenneth Titus
The death of Donald Kenneth Titus, husband of the late Lucille Grace (Fanjoy) Titus, of Saint John, N.B. occurred on Saturday, January 1, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was a son of the late Robert N. and Della G. (Raymond) Titus and was brought up on the Straight Shore (Chesley Street) and always lived in the North End. Don was a member of Douglas Ave. Christian Church and attended Main Street Baptist Church and Fundamental Baptist Church; he was baptized at age 21 and his life was a testimony to his Lord and Saviour and his faith was an inspiration to his friends. He had been employed with the C.P.R. for over 48 years at the Port of Saint John. During WWII he had served as a gunner with the artillery in Italy, North-west Europe and Germany. Survived by one sister, Olive Guerrier of Saint John. Besides his parents and wife, Donald was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters, Vera Jefferies, Iva Smith, Florence Lewis, Alma, Herbert, Frank, Austin and Robert Titus. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 from 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at 10 am. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery in the spring. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
