Obituary of Elizabeth Sarah Dufour

Dufour, Elizabeth Sarah (Betty Burgess) died on January 4, 2007 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, Providence, Rhode Island. Born in Saint John, NB on December 1, 1927 a daughter of the late George M. and Doris M. (Nickson) Burgess. She loved being in the company of others and enjoyed quilting, card leagues and crafts. She was a member of the Providence Seniors Centre. Survived by her son, Brock M. Dufour of Pawtucket, RI; two brothers, Robert C. (Barbara) Burgess of Saint John and Malcolm M. (Judith) Burgess of Clifton Royal, NB; two sisters, Frances M. (Donald) MacGregor of Cobourg, ON and Kathleen Callaghan of Saint John; cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandson, Jamie Brock Dufour of Norfolk; half-brother, George A. (Eleanor) Burgess of Ottawa, ON and brother-in-law, David R. Callaghan of Saint John. The funeral service was held from Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home, Pawtucket, RI with the Reverend David Goodfellow officiating.
