Obituary of Ethel Grace Campbell

The death of Ethel Campbell, wife of the late Clayton Campbell, occurred at her residence, the Loch Lomond Villa on Thursday, December 20, 2007. She was born on July 23, 1915 in Carbonear, NL to the late Edward and Julia Ann (Taylor) Clarke. Ethel is survived by her three daughters: Dawn (Fred) Dixon and Virginia (Delbert) Friars and Margie (Irvine) Mitchell; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Ethel was predeceased by her three sisters: Mary Jane Slade, Bessie Alexander and Tryphena Clarke. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. At Ethel’s request there will be no visitation and funeral service. A private graveside service will be held in Cedar Hill Extension. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Remembrances in Ethel’s memory, may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
