Obituary of Mary Margaret Walker

Walker, Mary Margaret … The death of Mary Margaret Walker of Saint John, NB, occurred on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born on August 15, 1915 in Saint John she was a daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Durnell) Walker. Prior to retirement she had been employed with St. Joseph’s Hospital in Central Supply. Survived by two sisters: Joan Brewer of Saint John and Florence Gauthier of Windsor, ON; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Mary Reynolds. Predeceased by her parents; brothers, Robert, William and Ralph, and a sister, Nora Gill. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Peter’s Church, Clarendon St. on Monday, February 11, 2008 at 11 am. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Children’s Wish Foundation or St. Peter’s Church.
