Obituary of Ingrid Ellinor Drew

The death of Ingrid Ellinor Drew of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Leonard Drew, occurred on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at the Carleton Kirk Lodge Nursing Home. Born February 11, 1925 in Svendborg, Denmark, she was a daughter of the late Lars and Johanne (Neilson) Hansen. Survived by two sons, Gerald (Sandra) Drew of Hampton, NB and Lawrence (Margaret) Drew of Halifax, NS; two daughters, Johanne (Neil) McLeod of Vancouver Island, BC and Susan Gibson (Scott MacKay) of Vancouver, BC; one sister, Donna (Bev) Adair of Saint John; a brother, Raymond (Eva) Hansen of Centreville, NB; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Leonard; her parents; step-mother, Beatrice (Sands) Hansen; two sisters, Ellinor Hansen and Henny Kraglund. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 11 am. Interment will be held in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to the Parkinson Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
