Obituary of Harold Mayhew Anderson

Anderson, Harold Mayhew – The death of Harold Anderson of Saint John, NB, husband of the late Margaret (Major) Anderson, occurred on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on December 3, 1919, he was a son of the late Harry M. and Annie May (Jenkins) Anderson. Harold had been employed with Lantic Sugar for 37 years and he was a member of the Buffalo Club. Besides his wife he is survived by four daughters, Sheila (Don) Savoie of Chipman, Jo-Anne (Ron) Hannah of Burlington, ON, Judith (Mike) Juliano of Saint John and Barbara (Dave) Anson of Saint John; six grandchildren, Jason, Julia, Lacie, Tim and Roseanne; and six great-grandchildren, Steven, Michael, Rebecca, Jessica, Devlin and Jaidan. Predeceased by his wife, Margaret in December 2007 and a grandson, Rodney. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Holy Trinity Church, Rockland Road on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 12 noon Interment will be in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to any charity of choice.
