Obituary of Mary Way

Mary (Barnes) Way passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at the Loch Lomond Villa, aged 98 years. Mary was born at Champneys West, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland, and was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Jesse Way; her son, Stanley Way; three sisters, Elizabeth, Alfreda, and Evelyn; and two brothers, John and Howard. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mary leaves with loving memories her daughter, Bessie Bradshaw (Allan) of Quispamsis; her daughter-in-law, Adeline Way of Edmonton, Alberta; grandchildren Susan Nichol (Desmond) of North Bay, Ontario, Sandra Goguen (Dominic) of Mississauga, Ontario; Stephen Way, Stephanie Tochuniuk, Kelvin Zerebeski, and Randy Chamchuk, all of Edmonton; great grandchildren Alison, Kimberley, Brandon, Sabrina, Joel, and Caitlyn; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Mary’s funeral service and burial will take place in St. John’s, Newfoundland; however, remembrances to the Loch Lomond Villa Foundation would be appreciated by the family, and may be made through Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), or online at www.brenansfh.com. The family would like to thank the staff of the Loch Lomond Villa for all the loving kindness and wonderful care given to Mary over the past five years. She was a wonderful lady who will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
