Obituary of Phyllis May Goucher

The death of Phyllis M. Goucher of Rothesay, NB, occurred on July 14, 2009, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Phyllis was the daughter of the late Arthur R. and Evelyn B. (Watkins) Goucher, she was born on August 13, 1925, in St. Stephen, NB. Phyllis worked as a secretary for many years with Irving Oil. She is survived by her brother, William (Beth) Goucher of Quebec; sister, Joan Goucher of Rothesay, NB; nephew, Gordon (Sheila) Goucher; and great-nephew Simon all of Calgary. She was predeceased by her parents. By request of Phyllis there will be no visiting or funeral service. Interment will take place in St. Stephen Rural Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, and (506) 634-7424.
